by creating your dream team. However, the combat is a little hard to master.
Two generations in one game
Naruto X Boruto Ninja Tribes is a
team-based
combat game
. As mentioned, this game sees both generations of the Naruto franchise collide. Here, you will play by controlling a team of ninjas as they complete missions. There will be
nine different characters per team
, which will have
three sub-teams
that rotate every turn. In every mission, there will be battles that you must win.
Battles are
turn-based
and will include the most legendary attacks introduced in the series. However, when fighting, characters are
often put in random teams
. You also
cycle through the members
you have instead of using a set. When a character finished attacking, it will be rotated out, and a new character will fill in the spot. Such
shuffle mechanics
make the matches fun but also make winning extra challenging.
As with other games based on the franchise, Ninja Tribes brings your well-loved characters. Since this game
spans two generations
, you will have an enormous character selection that includes the new Boruto series. You can recruit ninjas for your team as you complete the mission or
use the gacha system
to collect them at random. Be warned, though, the
gacha rates are very horrendous.
Addicting yet frustrating
If you are a fan of the Naruto franchise, Naruto X Boruto Ninja Tribes is a game
worth picking up
. The game will take you back to the series with its
visually stunning animation
and battles that are faithful to the story. However, as you play, you will find that it has
very little content.

lacks other relevant features
and comes with multitudes of issues.
